The soil in Australian Deserts are extremely lacking in nutrients, more so than any other county on Earth. Because of the exceedingly warm temperature, the soil is different from many other countries. The soil is called entisols and is a type of soild that is much too dry for and significant soil horizon development. This is a unique layer in the soil type. The weather in Australian deserts vary from night and day. Temperatures can reach up to 40 degree celsius in the day. At night however, the temperature can drop to 0 degrees celsius because all the warmth is released into the atmosphere.
